Community centre De Wetering consists of the former Dr. Bosschool with a new annex. The users and representatives of the neighbourhood platform were closely involved in the design. The existing monumental building from 1922 was renovated and expanded with an annex incorporated in the landscape. De Wetering offers shelter to Rijnstad, SWOA, Sportbedrijf Arnhem, Playground de Rommelkist, the neighbourhood shop and a gym. The police consultation hours takes place here too. By using a building together, the different institutions can work together better and activities for neighbourhood residents be matched.
